David J. Moore, Vice President and General Manager, Embedded Business Division - Programmable Solutions Group at Intel Corporation, leads a team responsible for the management and growth of Intel’s FPGA business across the industrial, automotive, military, broadcast, test and measurement, consumer and medical vertical market segments. Moore joined Intel in 2015 with the acquisition of Altera Corp., where his career had spanned 16 years and multiple leadership roles. Before assuming his current role, he led Software Engineering at PSG, a global engineering team developing a comprehensive portfolio of electronic design automation, high-level design and embedded system software design tools. Prior to that, Moore managed Altera’s global business in the industrial, test and medical market segments. Earlier in his career at Altera, Moore held a range of technical and engineering leadership roles across Altera’s engineering groups. This period included a three-year assignment in Southeast Asia, where he was responsible for building new engineering groups and research and development sites. Moore earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from University College Dublin in Ireland and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
