As a veteran, I always appreciated two key features of the American democracy; the right to peacefully protest and the peaceful transfer of power. Today is a sad day in America. I’m heartbroken watching the unlawful actions by protestors in Washington D.C. reflect poorly on our nation and our democracy.

At Intel, we believe in America’s democratic process and in the resilience of our democratic system and traditions. We hope that the American people exercise their right to free speech in a constructive, peaceful manner. This freedom is foundational to our election process and the democracy it supports. We can have a powerful impact when we come together peacefully to drive change and promote fairness throughout government and society.
