Meet five of our senior leaders who have forged unique careers here and learn how the global nature of our company makes for boundless opportunity.

Sukumar S. Raghuram

After joining Intel as a recent college graduate, Sukumar went on to lead critical product validations. As a leader in the High Velocity Products Group, he mentored team members based in Hyderabad and Bangalore, helping build critical technical expertise within the group responsible for delivering world-class systems-on-chips programs.

Almost 20 years later, what he appreciates most about the company is its commitment to flexibility and work-life balance:

“When my father was critically ill and was hospitalized in India, my managers in Folsom let me work from India for a few months, at a time that was convenient for me. Intel is always a “people first” company.”

Milind Hanchinmani

Initially based in Seattle, Wash., Milind was responsible for optimizing Microsoft software for Intel products.

After relocating to India in 2007, he took advantage of various career development opportunities and led teams in high performance computing, Internet of Things, and the data center working with customers across the Asia Pacific region.

“It is amazing to see your work being used across the world by developers. Being part of developer relations and engaging with various customers and startups across HPC, IOT, Enterprise, AI and enabling them on Intel hardware platforms has been a great learning experience.”

V Bharathi

As a mother to a 5-year-old, V was motivated to join Intel because of the flexible work environment offered. She has since grown a thriving career, from front-end CAD engineer to low power architect, where she has been able to cross boundaries and assume ownership of methodology for designing low power products.

As a diversity and inclusion representative for the India site, she advocates for the technical development of women and hosts several programs to develop personal brands.

“I have always had managers who believed in me and allowed me to explore and work on challenging things rather than limiting me to do the mundane which enabled me to grow to this level.”

Anjali Rao

During Anjali’s 14-year career journey with Intel HR, she’s pursued many role rotations in the U.S. and India and has helped grow a strong and diverse organization positioned as a talent leader in the market.

While leading the India Talent Acquisition team, she spearheaded the talent transformation 2.0 project which focused on transforming the hiring and candidate experience. She hopes to pass on the experiences and opportunities she’s had to others.

“Intel’s strength in enabling talent fungibility, transparent and supportive leadership, and challenging yet exciting work charter have been key to my gratifying career here.”

Ajay Sharma

After joining Intel with a focus on supply chain solutions, Ajay developed a passion for disruptive technologies and the product side of the organization.

From there, he became a founding member of the “internal startup” team that created one of the four global services launched as part of the corporate strategy to explore new business models. He now works with key government stakeholders in India to develop the National AI strategy and leads a new technology development team to deliver low-cost connectivity to rural areas leveraging innovations from many groups across Intel.

“The openness of Intel managers and leaders to not just allow but encourage and enable me to move horizontally has been exceptional and helped me to keep growing and developing into new areas – risk taking at its best in many ways. I also think the culture of meritocracy and a rock-solid ethics and value system are the other drivers enabling a strong career at Intel.”
