Jakob Engblom works with product management for the Simics virtual platform tool. He has worked with simulation and programming tools for the past two decades, in particular in the embedded systems area (which is now called Internet-of-Things). He is very interested in how simulation in all forms can be used to improve software and system development. He regularly presents at industry conferences in the EDA and embedded systems areas, and has written more than a hundred articles and conference papers over the years.
