Bill Elwell is the North American Channel Manager for Intel® Server Platforms. You may know Bill from his “Bill the Server Guy” video series on http://www.techinsight.tv/ram-features/bill-the-server-guy.html. With a strong background in both technology and marketing, Mr. Elwell brings a diverse knowledge base to his work with servers at Intel.
In his 16 years at Intel, Bill has served in a variety of roles. For the past 5 years he has been the Channel Manager for various server related product lines. Bill spent four years as the Blade Server Product manager for North America. During that period of time, Intel’s blade business grew from an investigational effort with no sales to a multi-million dollar business driven by a growing sales and marketing team. The balance of Bill’s tenure with Intel has been spent in product marketing for workstation and server products along with a commodity management role.
Prior to joining Intel, he spent 10 years in engineering and desktop product management for the federal division of a major computer manufacturer. Bill’s first roles after graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering, included designing and deploying microprocessor-based data collection tools for both the FAA and NASA.
Mayura Garg is currently North America Channel Media and Communications strategist at Intel. She enjoys creating and sharing valuable Intel content to enable Intel Technology Providers to grow their business with Intel inside. Some of her previous assignments at Intel include product management and marketing of a security service, Wifi and Wimax products, as well as numerous roles from research engineer, technology consultant business development, product portfolio manager at companies like Motorola, HP and Symbol Technologies. In addition to her ~20 years professional experience in technology development and marketing, she has an MBA from Kellogg School of Business focused on Marketing and Strategy as well as a BSEE from University of Illinois focused on computer and communication architecture. A mother of 2 young and active children, she loves to find technology solutions to aid children’s education and is a strong proponent of women’s education globally. When not working, she enjoys photography, yoga and dancing with her family.
Todd Garrigues is Director of North America Partner Marketing at Intel and is responsible for managing both the Intel Technology Provider program, and for the launch and ramp of Intel products in the U.S. and Canada. Todd is a long time channel champion – having spent the bulk of his 18 years at Intel focused on the channel. Previous to this role, he held multiple positions with Intel, in various factory and geography based roles, including time in Japan, Germany and the U.K. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Oregon State University, and a Masters of Science and Technology Management from Pepperdine University. Todd is currently based in Maryland
Pat is Director of North America Solution Provider Organization in Enterprise Solution Sales group of Intel Americas. Pat’s 21 years at Intel include a background in product and corporate marketing, multinational account sales, people management, and enterprise business development. He started at Intel as an intern in 1992 while earning his bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Minnesota. For the past 15 years he has worked with F500 enterprise customers, managed sales teams and recently was the chief architect responsible for merging several Intel channel groups to create the largest business scale engine known as the North America Solution Provider organization. His org is responsible for assisting Solution Providers grow their overall business through the prominent use of Intel® based solutions. His passion is leadership and believes that a better tomorrow can be realized today with the use of technology.
Sofie Vance is the Channel Program Manager in North America for the Intel® Technology Provider Program. In this role she is responsible for driving Intel’s North American channel partner program strategy and broad channel expansion. She has been with Intel for 4 years, prior to Intel she has over 13 years in the channel varying from the visual component market to consumer retail.
Dan is the North America Channel Marketing Manager for the Intelligent Systems Division of Intel Corp. He is charged with ensuring that Intel channel partners, distributors, and customers are introduced to the multitude of industry vertical market segment solutions offered by Intel and its ecosystem. His 30 years at Intel and 25 years in channel and distribution management contributed to Dan being asked to head up Intel’s Intelligent Systems Solution Provider Channel Initiative Management for the past five years. He is an Arizona State University Graduate with several Industry Advanced Certifications.
