Intel signs Human Rights Campaign amicus brief supporting transgender student Gavin Grimm

Today, Intel joined other industry leaders signing a Human Rights Campaign amicus brief to the Supreme Court, supporting Gavin Grimm, a transgender student in Virginia suing his school district for the right to use the bathroom of his choice.

Intel signed this amicus brief to stand with our LGBTQ colleagues, customers, communities, suppliers and partners, and we firmly believe that equality for LGBTQ individuals is a civil right. We do not support policies that we feel are discriminatory at the state or federal level and believe that a more inclusive workforce makes us a stronger company, and that our impact on people’s lives around the world is a direct result of our diverse employees.
