Kevin FisherKevin Fisher is the United Kingdom public policy manager and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) standards policy manager for Intel Corporation. He has been a member of the Intel EMEA Global Public Policy team since 2000.

Kevin joined Intel in 1981 as a computer repair engineer and has held a variety of posts, primarily in customer care and technical support. His roles have included managing the European systems group customer quality team and an engineering design team focused on providing solutions for Intel Original Equipment Manufacturer customers. He recently managed a group of multilingual support engineers providing phone-based technical support to Intel’s branded products customers.

An active member of industry trade associations, Kevin has participated in DIGITALEUROPE, AEA and Intellect, and standards bodies such as IEC, European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) and Ecma International. In Ecma he is the convener of TC38-TG2, the environmental standards energy consumption committee that is developing a standard for measuring the annualized energy consumption of personal computing devices.
