Intel: Leaping through the Years

2012 is Intel’s eleventh leap year! We salute Intel’s “leaps” with a fun look back at Intel’s leap years from 1976 to today.

Use the slider to scroll through the timeline, then mouse over each year for a fast fact and click on it for a quick pop-up look at that year’s highlights. (Click the “X” in the top left corner to return to the timeline.)

What do you think 2012’s leap will be? Ultrabooks? Phones? 3D transistors?

Better yet, what do you think 2016 holds in store?

Not sure, but that’s a good question. I think corporations are becoming more environmentally conscious and are actively looking for ways to be more green.
