Hey Austin, Texas

Note from the blog manager: Michelle embarks on her next adventure as she travels to Austin, Texas in search for more talent. After a successful trip to Atlanta, Michelle is eager to connect with more perspective hires. Don’t miss the opportunity to connect with her this summer and network with knowledgeable Intel employees! Come on Austin, show us what you’re made of!

Michelle here again – Recruiter turned Hiring Event Program Manager for the summer and loving it! Atlanta, Georgia was great last week. We met some great engineers and by the end of the day we were able to tell half of them they were getting offers from Intel! The people were great and so were the peaches, but I won’t miss the traffic ;) Oh, and I loved Yogli Mogli – that place is great – as soon as I got home I searched for a frozen yogurt place like it in my hometown in North Carolina!

Looking forward to meeting you in Austin, Texas! I will be there on July 15. I can’t wait to hear from experienced Hardware and Software Engineers and Architects in the Austin, Texas area.

In case this if your first time reading my blog, I want to encourage you to consider meeting with us! If you’ve ever considered relocating or want to stay in Austin and have the skills we are hiring for, then this is your chance to be interviewed face-to-face by Intel hiring managers. No planes or travelling; we’re coming to you – how much easier could it be? Just submit your resume, Candidate Profile, or just submit a comment on this blog and tell me about what you do! It doesn’t need to be formal and let’s talk! Visit our Intel Austin, Texas Hiring Event to learn more about the positions we are hiring for, the great cities we have job opportunities in, and how to apply. We’ll contact you with more details about the event after you apply.

By the way, my next stop is Chicago, IL! Stay tuned for my next post!

Hey Michelle, I need some advice. I am trying to get back on in the Chandler, AZ area in one the manufacturing facilities. I took a voluntary lay-off back in 2001 and I am eligible for re-hire. I have applied for several postings and so far have had no luck. Can you give me some advice?
