IDF Comes to San Francisco September 22-24

posted by Ken Kaplan on June 30, 2009

For a dozen years, the Intel Developer Forum has been pulling together top rock stars of technology innovation. IDF 2009

It’s happening again September 22-24, when digital enterprise, mobility, digital home, software, manufacturing and research experts come together under the enormous roof of San Francisco’s Moscone Center West.

Leading technologists gather to collaborate and collect insights about Intel’s technology roadmap so they can build new products with the best and latest innovation inside.

IDF is about collaborating, educating, innovating and risk taking to find new ways for technologies to meet real needs in our lives. It’s about meaningful progress, and I feel the pace of innovation quickening when I see highlights from last year’s IDF 2008 in San Francisco:

I am trying to make plane arrangements for Sep 24th. When is the last IDF session over on Sep 24th? I am hoping by lunch time (~12pm) …

Rich — sorry for the delayed response. On September 24, it’s looking like the final keynote is slated to end at 2:05 p.m. PT, followed by a Technology Insight session from 2:05 to 2:55. Hope you can make it!

Is the Technology Insight session on the 24th the same as the Intel Roadmap Update Meeting (IRUM)? I received a ‘save the date’ for the IRUM but didn’t see anything further.

Thanks, Brian Forbes Voltaire Inc.

The Tech Insight session is on the 23rd and is open to all attendees. The Intel Roadmap Meeting is invite only. If you are at IDF, please stop by the first floor information booth.
