Rich Creek 2 (RC2) is a first-ever form factor for notebooks. Much like ATX, RC2 defines the size and layout specs for notebook motherboards, chassis, and all accompanying peripherals. It is like an extension to Common Building Blocks, complementing it to build a complete notebook system.
So come on over to channel booth at the Mobility Pavilion, we’ll be showcasing the following exciting new designs at the forum:
- MediaPortal ported onto MGM101EN (Entry Cove board)
- Oregon City, our next generation SMB chassis
- Cool A plate designs by Coryor
- MGM45WU & MGM45RM boards in RC2 formfactor
Please visit Channel booth at the Mobility Pavilion @ Intel Developers Forum Taipei Oct 20-21st to learn more about RichCreek2 and mobile boards.

This is great!
It is about the times that consumers will be able to build their own notebooks, as we already do with desktop computers!
