Learning About DisplayPort Technology

DisplayPort is a new digital display interface for desktop monitors and embedded notebook panels that enables higher resolution displays, sleeker form factor notebooks, improved ease of use, and exciting new technologies integrated directly into the panel.

  1. One question that no one has answered yet: Is the GMA X4500 DisplayPort able to drive 30″ monitors at their native resolution (2560 x 1600), or is it limited to 1920 x 1200 like DVI and HDMI?

    Yes, we can drive 2 30” monitors at 25×16 (at 60Hz and 10bpc)
