Transparency is a pretty big thing for us - it's one of the reasons why we publish an annual Corporate Responsibility Report. Over the past year or so, we've been experimenting with other transparency platforms.

Cue our "Explore Intel" website. Initially launched in early 2011 for our New Mexico campus, the site shares quarterly, or even real-time environmental data, as well as a live webcam of the air scrubbers on the roof (sunny and cloud free as of 11:20AM today).

Based on the feedback we received, we launched similar websites this year for our new wafer fabrication facility in Dalian, as well as for our operations in Costa Rica. This is just one of the ways that we're committed to transparency and accountability in the communities in which we live and work.

Learn more about our approach to transparency in our full 2011 Corporate Responsibility Report. And follow us on Twitter.

What are your thoughts on transparency and reporting? Are we headed in the right direction?
