Hi, Kirby, Congratulations on the progress! I am a native in dalian, a candidate for doctor Degree from Nankai university. My research interests focus on micromachining technology with femtosecond lasers, which are widely used to generate micro/nano structures on different materials. In September 2007, you mentioned before that it would take some time for fab68 to get internship positions in place for Fab 68. One year has almost past. Are there any internship positions available now? If so, would you please give us some suggestions on how I can apply for a suitable position? Besides that, is there any research and develop department in Fab68? Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

hello,boss: I am an IC design engineer in Shanghai. My hometown is dalian city. Since there is no large IC design house in Dalian, I have to live and work in Shanghai. I am now in a big and leading company. I hope intel will recruit IC design, verification or impelemtation technicians someday. Thus I can come back to Dalian. Do you think intel will hold a design center in Dalian? Some foundries, like TSMC, SMIC etc., they all set up ic design department for designing or supporting works. I hope, intel will do so also. Dear Kirby I’m a equipment engieer in FAB for about 3 years. I assure I have enough experience and skills to work in FAB, and I promises I could live in dalian forever bucause my hometown next to dalian. I want to work for FAB68 very much. At the present time we are hiring experienced Fab personal. The construction on our factory will not complete until mid 2009, so there really is no work for interns at the present time. Our current hiring is focused on experienced Fab personal, and many of those will be brought to the US for training, and we will all return to Dalian next year to begin the process of starting the factory up. Hello Kirby, so glad to see your words again. Since May 5th you haven’t come to this blog, I think you’re probably too busy. I heard some people had received offer already. I’m so eager to have one interview with your hiring team. I’m from Shenyang City, so close to Dalian. That’s why I’d like to go back to Liaoning. And I’m a master majored in microelectronics. I ever undertook as a PIE engineer in a Fab for almost two years and now I’m in charge of product. I’ve already sent my resume to your HR, but no any information to me. I just want to know when you’ll seek the applicants like me. You said this summer you would interview for many cycles. And are all these for the Fab personal? Won’t you arrange the new interview for other positions until next year, when you all return from US? Or you’ll interview and confirm person for other positions this summer, then they can go to work in Dalian next year. Anyway I really hope I have one opportunity. Hello Kirby, I’m glad to see your blog in this website. I’m an equipment engineer in FAB for over 5 years(both 200 & 300mm experience). I want to know if your experienced hiring program are ongoing? I think my experience may have a little help for Dalian FAB68 start up and mass production. I also want to begin my new career in Intel. Hello Kirby! I’m Joseph, it’s really my great honor if you could read my words. Please excuse me that I’m talking about hiring plans instead of the main topics. First, I’m a recent graduate majored in English education. Then, I’ve never planed to be a teacher, I must admit that I have more interest in electronics. That’s really the reason I’m applying for the position of ERT. So, I enjoyed three times’ Telephone Interviews and a very happy face -to -face talking with Mr Bao on Nov. 15. I’m still exited to mention that with my appreciation. As for me, working in Working in Fab 68 is a so exciting, and both cultures and values of the Corporation are deeply appealing me. Oh, My sir, I cherish this opportunity so much, because I believe that I could do a lot of things for Fab 68, that’s just the processing of proving myself . I’m also clear that maybe my major and my experience are not my adventages, but it’s not my disadvantage either. I think Intel or Fab 68 hired a person not only for his or her diploma and degrees but also for some potential reasons. I’m sure I’m able… Do something for the electronic careers is always my dream! I really hope I’m not wasting your time. What I’ve said is just for the a little later replies of my ERT Interview, because I’m long for my more earlier learning trip.
