Dear Mr.kirby! 我98年毕业于吉林工业大学管理工程专业，毕业后就职于华为技术有限公司（Huawei），从事流程优化、市场销售和管理等工作，02年－04年，先后在委内瑞拉、南非等国家工作，04年由于家庭原因离开华为，现定居大连。目前，正在攻读博士学位－－吉林大学技术经济及管理专业，同时在华三通信公司（H3C，原Huawei－3com）从事办事处的渠道管理和销售等方面的工作，但是工作地点不在大连。看到Intel在大连建厂的消息，非常振奋，希望能加入Intel，我相信自己能符合Intel的用人要求，期待着您的回复和建议。Thanks！

Hi Kirby. Last weekend, I watched your TV interview program. I knew your plan, your purposal, your great ideas to build a Dalian Fab68.

Also you look like a nice gentleman, exactly, I have strong confidence that Intel Fab68 will become a great member of Dalian. It can lead Dalian to be a new high level at all aspects. Everybody is fucusing on the progress of Fab68 and hope everything is going well with you.

Kirby, two more question. Every fab building up need a 100% percent sure of 2 important things. 1st, how can Intel make sure the lowest affect on Dalian Enviroment with Fab normal running. 2nd, Do Intel has any plan to do which kind of production. you have to know in China, we have Foundry & DRAM Fab both. I believe if Intel wanna win the competition in China of Products, You need to bring 65nm or lower advanced products to China and get Intel advantage. Right now, SMIC,TSMC,Hynix-ST, GSMC,etc…. Are all very agressive in China Business.

Dear Floatinggate, We have not yet made a final decision on the technology node that we will start the factory up on. This will be very dependent on business requirements and we will be waiting to make this final decision as late as we can.

And Intel has not announced any plans to convert Fab 17 to 300mm. Kirby

Hello 王璥暄, from the limited description that you have provided in your note, it sounds to me as though your experience would qualify you in our industrial engineering organization. This is the group that works to improve the efficiency of production in the factory and is also responsible for factory layout and all equipment requirements. Fab 68 will be a manufacturing site and will not have any marketing aspects as part of the organization, so I don’t think that is an area that will be of much opportunity. Good luck. Kirby

Dear Kirby I just have a slight suggestion for helping fab68 to be a very positive force at Dalian ,Hope it can be work and useful .Maybe you can go to A5T5 and A7T7 site and have some 1:1 with some of the first stage local employee joined at 2003 or so. The reason is everyone of them have experienced every detail and single step from full of courage , wondering ,depressive and recharge so if you have a private talk with them maybe they will share with you some very useful tips beside those your received from senior managment team . And I believe some of those stories ,lessons learned or personal BKM can be very very helpful for this great project stands for Intel’s commitment leap ahead .

Dear Kirby, thank you for your suggestion. I had a long trip to Jiuzhaigou, Lijiang, Xiamen etc. during the National Days, so I hadn’t browsed the website until just now. Even though I feel a little disappointment as I know there is not be of much opportunity in Fab68, Dalian, but I think I can do more other jobs besides marketing and sales, such as management, plan, supervision and so on. By the way, my major is engineering management in college, and I can adapt myself to the job that I like to do quickly because of my professional training and experience. Thank you! Sincerely

To date, I’ve conducted open forums at a variety of Intel China sites to both educate our Intel employees about Fab 68 and to solicit general questions. During the process, I’ve learned a great deal from the employees that will be incorporated into our management practices in the future. In the future I plan to have many of my staff (and myself) do as you suggest. Kirby

Dear Mr.Kirby. i am a staff in Rohm of da-lian .you know, the message of intel going to be in da-lian really turn me on. i am a bachelor ,though i am fully confident in my ability ,but i am afraid that you ohly fix your eyes on the Masters and PhDs.if so, i would say ,it`s not fair. is it not obvious that we young mans have more desire to study ,more potentials to find ,and we are closer going with the age.we are apt to be a successful manager. Only what we need is a chance .now i recommend myself to you . i gratuated from Jiao-Tong University .my major concentrate in the fields of machines and electrics. i am an inter-disciplinary talent。i cannot wait till the recruiting 2008 coming or even later . cuz then i would be another one year older then now . how about your opinion sincerely
