Big, Sharp, Rounded Displays

One of the things I keep seeing at this year’s CES are big, sharp, HD displays. But, apart from crisp pictures, I also noticed lots of soft curves, touchable acrylic bezels, and most popular, shiny black surrounds.

Although beautiful and desirable, I must say, these glossy, rounded design motifs remind me of something—I can’t quite put my finger on what it might be.
