To quote Lee Corso, “Not so fast my friend.” As much as I love my smartphone and to some extent my ipad comes in handy for some things (but honestly I’m not as in love with it as everyone else seems to be)! I still need my PC! I also like the new Facebook design, and prefer to Facebook on a PC , most people don’t like the new FB layout and seem to be enamored with mobile Facebook’ing.  Maybe I am just  the odd man, woman out! I must not be “touchy, feely” because I don’t like touchpads, I like keyboards. I like big screens, I like to use programs that are in full screen.  Gone are the days when you had a break from technology because it was sitting on your desk as a PC!  I long for those days.  Now  it’s goes everywhere with you: dinner, doctors office, shopping, bathroom (yes admit it) in the car, to the beach, at the airport, while you wait….it goes on and on.  So for me the PC is not going away anytime ever. I prefer it to all my other devices. I am looking forward to PC’s becoming lighter, sleeker and more powerful and I don’t want to feel like I’m hauling a brick in my packpack! My shoulders and chiropractor appreciate that. The current PC I have is nearly as light and compact as my ipad and I can do more with it. Long live the PC!
